C. Jane Weaver, 94, of Upper Sandusky, died at 7:20 a.m. Thursday, November 28, 2013 in the Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Upper Sandusky.

Born July 25, 1919 in Toledo, she is the daughter of the late Russell L. Sr. and Gertrude (Chio) Fagan. She married Fidelis "Jim" Weaver on September 21, 1940 in the Basilica of Our Lady of Consolation in Carey. He preceded her in death on August 5, 1997.

Surviving are two sons; Ronald J. Weaver of Carey and Donald P. (Esther) Weaver of rural Wharton, six grandchildren: Veronica Weaver, Carey, Shawn Weaver, Alabama, Rick Weaver, Upper Sandusky, Kris Niederkohr, Florida, Doug and Nic Weaver both of Wharton, three great grandchildren, one great great granchild, and many nieces and nephews.

The last of her family, she was preceded in death by two brothers; La Moin and Russell, Jr. Fagan.

A 1938 graduate of Carey High School, she worked for the Ford Motor Company in Sandusky, and AutoLite for 28 years retiring in 1979.

She was a member of the Basilica of Our Lady of Consolation in Carey and the U.A.W. Local in Sandusky. She volunteered for the Wyandot County Cancer Society for many years.

Jane loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed decorating her home, crocheting, and gardening. In her younger years, she enjoyed collecting antiques and attending dances with her husband.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 30, 2013 at STOMBAUGH-BATTON FUNERAL HOME, with Rev. John Stowe OFM Conv. officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Interment will follow in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Salem Twp near Upper Sandusky.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, 225 W. Findlay St. Carey, OH. 43316.
