Ann E. Mangett, 86, of Carey, Ohio died Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at her residence.

She was born in Upper Sandusky, Ohio on December 27, 1924. Daughter of the late John and Leta (Bolish) Walton.

She married Paul R. Mangett on June 14, 1947 at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Upper Sanduksy, Ohio. He preceded her in death on October 25, 2003.

She is survived by three sons; Stephen Mangett, Carey, Michael (Paula Moehling) Mangett, New Riegel, David (Linda) Mangett, Mt. Blanchard, two daughters; Nancy (Rick) Taylor, Tiffin, Mary (Tom) Kromer, Carey, ten grandchildren; Michael Jr., Danielle, Sarajane, Molly, Kacy, Madison, Lukas, Dylan, Izaak and Benjamin, five great grandchildren; Abby, Amberly, Anthony, Bryce and Blake. Also survivng are two sisters; Anita Mae Harshman, Tiffin, Leta Arlene Curth, Findlay.

Precedeing her in death are five brothers; Joseph, James, John, Justin and Izaak Walton, two sisters; Mary Jeanette Walton and Marjorie Windau.

Ann was a homemaker. She graduated from Upper Sandusky High School. She enjoyed doing puzzles, and watching sports, especially Ohio State basketball. She loved spending time with her gandchildren.

She was a member of The Basilica of Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church, Carey where she was a member of the Rosary Altar Society.

A private visitation will be at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, Carey.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at The Basilica of Our LAdy of Consolation, Carey with Father Florian Tiell OFM Conv. officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cenetery, Carey.

Memorial contributions in memory of Ann may be made to Our Lady of Consolation School in care of Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, 225 West Findlay Street, Carey, Ohio 43316-1169.
